Come experience the Second Annual Brew & Bourbon Classic at Pimlico Race Course.

The Brew and Bourbon Classic held on Saturday, September 13 is a fun-filled afternoon of beer tasting, bourbon sipping and, of course, pulse-pounding Thoroughbred racing. Over 60 different beers and bourbons will be poured inside as the races unfold. Great festival food and live music will round out the day.

The Golden Road

The Golden RoadThe Golden Road was created to celebrate the music, history, and community of the Grateful Dead. Playing the Dead’s classic music with a contemporary sound, energy and enthusiasm is the band’s mission, using each song as the foundation for new experimentation and interpretation. Each show has a unique theme– like playing a Dead album in it’s entirety, commemorating landmark dates, shows or holidays, or inviting special guest musicians to join the band. With a new set list for every show, and a mind blowing version of Drums and Space, you never know what’s around the next turn on The Golden Road.


Liquid A

1:00pm – 3:00pm 

Liquid ALiquid A is one of the most sought after premier cover bands on the East Coast. Consisting of five talented, versatile, and experienced professional musicians, Liquid A has played every major venue from Vermont to North Carolina including appearances at the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Nationals stadiums. The band tours extensively performing at clubs, casinos, weddings, private parties, and corporate events, racking up hundreds of shows every year.

 

THE TEXAS CHAINSAW HORNS
3:00pm – 5:00pm 

THE TEXAS CHAINSAW HORNSTHE TEXAS CHAINSAW HORNS came together twelve years ago in the suburbs of Washington D.C. Members originate from all over the country – Texas, NYC, Puerto Rico, Canada – but now maintain a family/home base in the DC/VA/MD area. The main focus of the band is the tight, five-piece horn section featuring trumpeter/arranger Tony Murtha, whose work has been featured on American Idol, the NFL Super Bowl Halftime Show, the Disney Channel, Comedy Central’s Colbert Report, Orange County Choppers, and commercials for Subway and the Washington Nationals.

Admission gives you all you care to taste beer and bourbon in a souvenir glass, access to a special VIP race viewing area, FREE admission to the track, live music and all of the exhibits. FREE parking is also included with your ticket.
